Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026

AnswerTheJob is a 24/7 AI receptionist service for contractors, operated by McElroy Family Ventures ("AnswerTheJob," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

How we use information

Text messaging

When a caller books an appointment through an AnswerTheJob line, we send a confirmation text message to the caller and a job-summary text message to the business. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service: with the client business the caller contacted (the call summary and booking details belong to that business), and with service providers that power our telephony, AI processing, and payment processing, under their own privacy and security obligations. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Recordings

Calls to AnswerTheJob lines may be recorded and transcribed so the client business has an accurate record of each request. Our greeting announces that the call may be recorded.

Retention and security

We keep call records and account information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting requirements, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it.

Your choices

You may reply STOP to any text message to opt out. To ask about, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, contact us at [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
